San Alfonso del Mar is a resort located in Algarrobo, Chile notable for its 1,000-meter long, 19-acre outdoor pool, which holds a Guinness world record Guinness World Records, known until 2000 as The Guinness Book of Records , is a reference book published annually, containing a collection of world records, both human achievements and the extremes of the natural world. The book itself held a world record, as the best-selling copyrighted series of all-time. It is also one of the most stolen books[1] as the largest in the world. The resort's large pool utilizes a technology developed by the Chilean company Crystal Lagoons, which uses water pumped from the Pacific Ocean The Pacific Ocean is the largest of the Earth's oceanic divisions. It extends from the Arctic in the north to the Southern Ocean in the south, bounded by Asia and Australia in the west, and the Americas in the east, that is then filtered and treated for supply to the pool.
It has a depth of 35 metres (115 ft)[2][3] which makes it the world's deepest pool.
The pool holds 66 million gallons of water. It cost about $3.5 million USD to construct[4][5]. The pool has been attracting tourists since it opened in December 2006.

A. It's www.sanalfonso.cl and the page is in Spanish. Algarrobo (the place where it is) is a beautiful place and what I loved most of San Alfonso is the huge artificial lagoon surrounding the buildings.
